Hi and welcome to the Shroom Liberation Front. We are dedicated to promoting the benefits of magic mushrooms and providing strong arguments against their prohibition, as well as acting as a beacon for the shrooming community to unite in shrooms' defense.
We also hope to capture the spirit of shrooms and shroomers though our website, and to provide a hub of entertainment, packed with great music videos, and informative documentaries on anything from shroom uses, to the state of our oceans.
We also want to highlight the plight of the planet and the effect of man's impact on it, through our actions. We are very much for saving the planet and trying to instill an interest in nature.
We also wish to provide a bridge over the divide, and unite people who have our shared interest and passion for shrooms into a common force, to be known as the Shroom Liberation Front. Together, who knows what we can achieve? So now that you've found us, stay around, join our forum or get in touch, and begin to discover not only a new world, but potentially a new way of life.
Shroom Season 2010 - The countdown begins
It's almost our favourite time of year again. Already their is now a slight chill to the air, and evenings and certainly a lot colder and crisper now. This is the signal, that it's time to get ready for the forthcoming festivities, and if you haven't already found your spots, it's time to get a move on, and get out and about with your 'reccky' missions, as we reckon the season will soon be upon us.
Britain has enjoyed a very seasonal summer this year, which means there's no danger of waterlogged fields that can ruin an entire season for everybody. In fact, it's been very dry on the whole, and if anything the land is still a bit too hard underfoot, and needs some much needed rain to soften it up. However this seems to be predicted, along with the fact that this Autumn is forecast to be slightly cooler then in previous years. With all things considered, the SLF feels that the forthcoming season could be one full of bounty, for anyone seeking to go our treasure hunting. We even hazard, that shroom season could start early this year, with people maybe even finding mushrooms within as little as two or three weeks time. From our own experience we've found that the Season has been getting later and later with each passing year, and sometimes many reports on the shrooms only coming out in Mid October. We're hoping that 1st October could mark the beginning of the season, and will keep you all posted with any new developments and confirmed sighting as they come in. However if you do find any shrooms then please do send in your reports so we can get the news out. Also let us know what the conditions are like in your part of the world, so that we can get a general understanding of how the season is panning out across the country.

For the first time ever the Shroom Liberation Front is going to start up an online wall board to commemorate the forthcoming shrooms season. It's for you guys out there to let everybody know your experience of shroom season. So send in your pics or short stories on how the season has been for you. It's not just about the mushrooms, but about how they bring everybody together, and to capture the very special time that is shroom season. So even if it's just pictures of you and your mates having fun, send them in. All ones deemed worthy will end up on the wall board which we'll make in due course. And remember don't forget your camera when you go out on your forrays. Have a great season everybody.
